What's the Story Behind Jaded?

This year's theme for me is ‘Focus & Action’.

I grew jaded of not chasing my dreams. I think a lot of us can relate to this. We talk about what we ‘wish we could’, ‘one day will’, ‘if’, ‘shoulda coulda woulda’, then we get so caught up in our own brains with the fear of failure, lack of focus, absence of an action plan, and we end up not doing ONE thing to help us get closer to our goals.

I was jaded with giving myself excuses. I was jaded with counting MYSELF OUT. Jaded of only being a dreamer, but not an effective do-er.

I was also jaded with purchasing clothes that didn't represent who I am, and who I aspire to become. I couldn't quite find clothes that I thought were super stylish but still appropriate for a professional setting. I want to be able to utilize my clothes to be worn in different ways and still look mature and show my personality.

And Voilà! That’s how JADED came about.

Jad·ed:
